Youth Basketball Development Program
Locations: Crenshaw YMCA & ICEF Middle School, Inglewood
The H.O.O.P. Foundation’s Youth Basketball Development Program provides structured athletic training and holistic youth development for student-athletes ages 6–14. Hosted weekly at the Crenshaw YMCA and ICEF Middle School in Inglewood, the program serves as a positive outlet where young people build discipline, teamwork, and resilience both on and off the court.
Program Components Include:

Dynamic Warm-Ups & Stretching
Proper stretching and mobility exercises improve flexibility, prevent injury, and prepare the body for performance. -
Skill-Building Drills
We emphasize fundamental development with structured instruction in:-
Passing and receiving techniques

Youth gain an understanding of in-game strategy, spacing, and decision-making to elevate their basketball IQ. -
