HOOP Club

Hoop Foundation features year-round Club basketball teams age 5 to 16 years old. Weekend tournaments and skills development training for athletes around Los Angeles. Annual Fee and tournament cost apply.

Shoes 2 Fill

The first annual 'Shoes 2 Fill' toy drive brought 8 middle school teams to Inglewood High School for a holiday showcase this past December. Much thanks to our event partners Vlado and Deap in Love.

Kids Venice

Basketball League

Every summer Sunday we partner with Veniceball and the Venice Basketball League to bring our youth to the seaside. Healthy lifestyle education, art, yoga, surfing and of course hoops are all apart of the curriculum.

Million Father March

We are proud supporters and organizers of the "Los Angeles Million Father March' which has grown out of recognition of the power of male involvement in the education of Black students.

Annual Awards Gala

Annually HOOP honors participant’s commitments on and off the court. Each year a special guest speaker addresses the participants and parents to engage, inform and empower the population we serve.

Tutoring & Life Skills

Thanks... The LAUSD Teachers agreement that covered many demands. It reduces the size of some classes by one student in each of the first two years and two students in the third year.

However, At-risk youth in the underserved communities in Inglewood and Los Angeles, California are still getting lost in the crowd and making the decision to drop out.

At-risk youth are dropping out of school as early as age 12.
